Senior Living
The many options for senior living, activities, healthcare, and housing options combined with a safe community and low cost of living make Farmington a great place to call home! In addition to residential long- and short-term care facilities, seniors will find a variety of active living communities with options for renting and purchasing.
Local activities include parks with fishing, hiking, and camping along with area wineries, golfing, concerts, dining, and shopping. Seniors can also take advantage of the Farmington Oaks Senior Center which provides delicious, affordable lunches and activities which give seniors the opportunity to make new friends or reconnect with others. Seniors can exercise, have a hot, nutritious lunch, exercise their mind with a public-use computer, or even grab a book from the Public Library extension. The center offers beginning computer classes, games, dancing classes, and even day trips! The Farmington Civic Center offers an indoor walking trail, water aerobics, and additional classes. They also offer day trips to regional sites. The Farmington Public Library has special offers including computer navigation classes designed especially for seniors.
